(a great snack food)
Sometimes soy nuts are available in supermarkets but they are often hard to find. You might want to make your own at home.
Soak 100 grams of soybeans overnight. Spread them on a cloth or paper to soak up excess water. Place on a large microwaveable dish and microwave on high for anywhere between 10 and 15 minutes. Keep inspecting and mixing them regularly to avoid burning and to learn exactly how long your microwave oven requires to get them golden brown and crispy.
While still warm, season them with any of: salt, black pepper, curry, barbecue powder, garlic powder, or any herbs you like.
Keep in refrigerator or freezer in an airtight container.
